Snocross at Ralph Wilson Stadium Cancelled

WSA Officials have CANCELED the snow cross race scheduled in Buffalo at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Saturday the 11th 2006. With warm temps snow cannot be made at the stadium. they had begun to make snow on Wed. 1/25 but with the rain of the 28th and current warm temps all the snow has melted. WSA Officials have stated that they plan to return next season with the race here in Buffalo at the stadium or possiably at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. Thanx to all who have volunteered to help at the races.

WSA Snocross coming back to Ralph Wilson Stadium
On Saturday Febuary 11th 2006Racing starts 8am - finals at 6pm
This is a 1 day nathional filmed event with all top riders (Blair Morgan etc.) with racing to run from 8am to approx. 11pm
I need volunteers to help on the track - run the 4 wheelers bringing sleds into and out of the tunnel to the track as well several girls to work the hospitality booth (press box)
Volunteers working the tunnel area , track and press box will get feed lunch and or dinner - and if working in the morning coffee / cocoa and donuts etc.
Volunteers will get a special wrist band alowing them access any where in the stadium except the press box unless working the press box.
All people working will get plenty of breaks to mingle around and check things out
If you have a 4 wheeler i need these also ??
VOLUNTEERS NEED TO BRING PLENTY OF WARM CLOTHING , GOOD BOOTS AND GLOVES - AS IT GETS VERY COLD ON THE TRACK AND IN THE TUNNEL AREA!!!
All volunteers last year had a great time as it wasnt like work they had plenty of breaks and most put in about 5 hours. Anyone working will have plenty of time to watch the races.

4 WHEELER IF COMING WITH ONE
ONCE I HAVE THE NAMES VOLUNTEERS WILL BE ASSIGNED A AREA TO WORK AND A TIME TO SHOW UP - IF YOU ARE WORKING THE AFTERNOON OR EVENING YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO ARRIVE ANY TIME BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED WORK TIME. ALL WORKERS COMING IN ON THE MORNING SHIFT WILL NEED TO BE AT THE STADIUM SIGNED IN AND ON THE TRACK (TUNNEL AREA) AT 7A.M. SHARP OR EARILER.

SPECIAL NOTE - CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE PRESS BOX - TUNNEL AREA OR ON THE TRACK !!
IF YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR KIDS THEY MUST BE 16 YEARS OLD TO HELP OUT OTHERWISE THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY THE NORMAL ADMISSION PRICE AND REMAIN IN THE GENERAL SEATING AREA. THESE ARE W.S.A. RULES NOT MINE AS LAST YEAR WE HAD TO MANY KIDS RUNNING AROUND UNSUPERVISED BY THERE PARENTS WORKING THE RACE. PLEASE DONT ASK AS LAST YEAR I ALLOWED THIS AND W.S.A.'s INSURANCE DOESNT COVER CHILDREN UNDER 16 YEARS OLD.
