The club has purchased a Ranger utility ATV, and is working on another Thiokol groomer.
The club has purchased a Ranger utility ATV for trail marking and other
duties. It has a 500cc motor, 4 wheel drive, independent suspension,
and a tilt bed that can hold many signs and trail markers.
A work detail to mark the new trail on C4 towards the Fireside gave the Ranger a fine test. It worked great, made it through some decent drifts, and carried plenty of signs and markers without complaint. A work detail photo album is available here.
In addition the club has purchased another Thiokol groomer (similar to pictured below) which will be revamped by the 2007-08 season. Rusty Rhoads (shazam5700@yahoo.com) will be updating and restoring the beast, and is also currently working on changing the pan on our current drag.
